Aprašymas
Your walk will begin at our meeting point in front of the Albertina Museum at 2:30pm located next to the opera house, continue past the imperial crypt, through the magnificent Stephansplatz where the imposing, gothic St. Stephen’s Cathedral (Stephansdom) stands, and through the different parts of the Hofburg, which took more than 650 years to construct! Pass the imperial treasury and the imperial chapel, where the world-renowned Vienna Boys Choir still sings at Sunday mass, and the infamous balcony, where Hitler declared the annexation of Austria to the German Reich.
After walking through the garden of a thousand roses (Volksgarten), you will see the most important buildings on Ringstrasse - a boulevard showcasing some of Vienna’s most stunning architecture, like the Parliament, City Hall and the Museum of Fine Arts. The tour will end at approximately 5pm at the State Opera House (Staatsoper).
